Small Update - Version 0.8.1
Hello Tacticians!
We've had a tremendous first week of the itchfund campaign! It turns out having a whole load of new eyeballs looking at a document will bring some mistakes out of the woodwork. In that spirit, I've dropped a small update to the game files including several small text fixes and rules clarifications. Additionally, I've included the current Digital Tools as a downloadable .zip file on the Itch page itself (which will be updated accordingly with each future update). These tools are also accessible via a QR code and link within the rulebook itself.
--- PATCH NOTES v0.8.1---
- Added explicit callout to the Digital Tools folder (including QR code) in Requirements For Play (pg.8).
- Added "When a Tactician is downed on their turn, they take a Death Pip and their turn is otherwise skipped (pg.36). When an enemy is downed, they are removed from the initiative list entirely." to Start of Battle (pg.32).
- Added "Abilities may be used once per battle after which they are Exhausted and may no longer be used (unless recharged via magic items, potions)." to Ability description in Actions (pg.33). There was a reference to Exhaustion in the text and on the Tactician sheet originally, but it was not explicit.
- Added "Use Item: Use an item on yourself or an adjacent combatant." in Actions (pg.33). This action was present throughout playtesting but was not listed in the rules.
- Added "For Enemies, the GM may remove the mini/token and track movement in secret. For Tacticians, the GM should roleplay Enemies as unable to see the Tactician and will not act against them." to Invisible in Conditions (pg. 34).
- Added "Enemies do not move or act when Stunned." to Stun in Conditions (pg. 34).
- Corrected "life" to "lift" under Strength description in Aptitudes (pg. 35).
- Replaced visuals for several Abilities involving Push to better communicate where a target is placed at the end of movement.
The next update will be in mid-February. That will be the first proper content update, at which point the game's price will also increase to $20.
